Quality care and patient safety has always been our priority and we’ve enhanced our safety measures.
We maintain and consistently review national and state guidelines to ensure every precaution is taken to lessen the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the care you receive is safe. It’s important not to delay your physical therapy care so your road to recovery continues.
  • High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters are used throughout the facility to reduce airborne contaminants.
  • Team members must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during patient care.
  • All patients and team members are temperature-checked and screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering the facility.
  • All exam rooms and equipment are wiped and disinfected between each patient.
  • Face masks, hand sanitizer, and handwashing stations are readily available and must be used before entering the waiting room and treatment areas.
  • Identified active COVID-19 patients are converted to virtual visits to reduce virus spread.

For the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, support persons and healthcare professionals, all individuals that enter Forest Hill Physical Therapy will be required to go through both temperature and symptom screening upon entering the facility.

Patient/Visitor Capacity Limitations

One visitor or support person will be permitted per patient at a time, unless:

  • The patient is a minor, in which case the pediatric patient may have both parents or guardians present, or
  • At the facility’s discretion, a limited number of additional individuals is determined to be appropriate that does not exceed capacity limitations.

Individuals who do not follow safety measures will be asked to leave the facility to ensure safety.

Social distancing is observed throughout our facility.

Our staff, patients, and visitors are required to remain at least 6 feet apart, except as needed in treatment areas for care delivery.

Our check-in and check-out process has been improved to reduce contact during intake and after treatment.

To save lives and prevent the spread of COVID-19, we follow issued travel advisory guidelines as recommended for unvaccinated and vaccinated travelers and residents.

To save lives and prevent the spread of COVID-19, Governor Murphy has issued an incoming travel advisory requiring all travelers entering New Jersey from states with significant rates of transmission of COVID-19 to quarantine for 14 days after leaving that state.

Patients with elective appointments and procedures will be converted to virtual visits until their 14-day quarantine is completed.
